8:30am Kapers

Kapers is when we work together with our cabins to keep camp clean. Every morning each cabin will take about 15 minutes to do their Kaper. We do this to help create a since of ownership of this space, and to teach applicable life skills.
9:00am Cabin Program Block
Example: Chaplain Time. Our Chaplains are clergy in the Presbyterian church who volunteer for individual sessions in order to teach, and facilitate conversations around our scriptural theme during chaplain time.

Program time facilitated by counselors for their cabins. Activities include: archery, canoeing, arts and crafts, ropes, etc. Our cabin units, we call them Family Units, stay together as they participate in each activity. They work together to negotiate the next day's schedule. Camper input, communication, and compromise are all encouraged.
